The memories of this night, will be ones we talk about, until the next time. ![]() The entire staff worked tirelessly to make our evening memorable, and they did not fail. As our evening winded down, we enjoyed seasonal bourbon smoked in front of us, and an espresso martini designed creative bar tenders. Each pairing, more exquisite than the last. He was as passionate about wine, as the chef was about food. While the chef dazzled us with his food, the Sommelier, regaled us with the history of each wine that he served. I wanted to savor it, but also could not eat it fast enough. Caviar, aged beef, fish, duck, dessert and chocolate, 6 courses, each creation made up of unique flavors that danced around in my mouth. That started a flow of course after course of food that my words cannot describe. We realized, this was not going to be an evening of just dinner and drinks. Our evening started out with a bang, at the Chef’s table, when our bottle of champagne was opened by a saber. All-in-all the food, wines, drinks and service are top notch- you will be pleasantly surprised at Greenville's newest gem. We were even treated to the opening of a bottle of champagne with a saber. URBAN WREN Chef Taylor Montgomery, Greenville, SC BREW LAB TEA Jennie Ripps, New York, NY DELAPLANE CELLARS Delaplane, VA EDWARDS VIRGINIA SMOKEHOUSE JOYCE. We enjoyed a five course meal that included king crab with four types of caviar, incredibly prepared skate wing with shoyu and fingerlime, harvest duck, and a progression of aged beef from 15 to 45 days. Although you can't go wrong eating off the menu, the Chef's Table was an incredible experience- dinner and a show. After a dinner, drinks, and wine off the menu on Friday night, the "Chef's Table" on Saturday, and brunch with bottomless Mimosa's on Sunday- we couldn't be more pleased with the food, services, and atmosphere. We spent the weekend in Greenville with some friends and decided to immerse ourselves in the Urban Wren.
